The Art of Mirko Sabini

Introduction:

by Dario Scarpati

"Mirko Sabini is a multi-faceted artist who manages, with a multiplicity of instruments, to constantly reach the heart and emotion of those who "get lost" in his works.

Although we attend little de Visu, we know each other for many years and I could witness an extraordinary evolution: from tests made almost only for himself or for the narrow circle of friends to public exhibitions and the publication of his first book of poems.

Through art, and especially painting, he manages to communicate fragments of life, sensations, imaginations.

And he knows how to do it, as you can see in this catalogue, using different techniques that lead to different results: as to want to emphasize a symbiosis between color, idea and matter, dominates the sheet and returns it full of history and stories: they are stories that come, directly, always.

And this is the most beautiful peculiarity that I find in the work of this artist"

<<The expression of colors tempers the mind, which finds space between shadows and lights.>>

The shadows evolve in the mystifications of a deep reality, while the lights act as phos of a reality that transcends and goes beyond the terms of an existential reference coming from the interior.

Talking about the light in reference to the tenderest of seasons renews the energies lost through its splendid return to fertility, not only of the agricultural fields but also of our inner rebirth.

It is the time that goes away, that goes towards the depth of existence between the conscious and the unacceptable.

Mirko Sabini

from the booklet by Mirko Sabatini:

. As far as acrylic painting is concerned... the colors are rather dense... it goes on trying to give a certain chromaticity to the shades of colors, organizing an image that evokes in the mind of man more or less sensitive suggestions.

In reference to the painting of materials, where the priority is the abundance of colors that also makes lose contact with the physiognomy of reality.

The colors mix and blend between them, creating illusions of tones that melt in the mind.

Oil pastels... with the fingers creating... obvious nuances.... perceive... contrasts.. .... a very energetic expressiveness.... movement.... dense.
